ABOUT THE COURSE:
Surface mining is the most popular mining technology. However, it is being challenged due to dearth of near surface deposits and socio-environmental constraints. With the invention of large scale equipment, innovative technologies and strategic planning surface mining can be carried out at a larger depth also with profit. Basic knowledge of surface mining is thus important for the mining engineers. This course is thus designed to provide the basic surface mining technology to the students.

8: Transportation system for surface mines and expit transportation
9: Design and maintenance of haul roads
10: Stability assessment of pit slopes and dumps designs
11: Sea bed mining, dimensional stone mining
12: Safety Environment and mine closure

औधोगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्थान ( Industrial Training Institute - ITI) से Turner ट्रेंड में दो वर्षीय कोर्स कराया जाता है! इन दो वर्षों में आपको विभिन्न तरह के Practical और Theoretical परीक्षाओं से गुजरना पड़ता है! इन परीक्षाओं को NCVT/GRDO द्वारा आयोजित किया जाता है! जिसमें आपको Trade Practical और Engineering Drawing के लिए अपने संस्थान या आसपास के किसी ITI में बनाये गये परीक्षा केन्द्र पर जाकर देना होता है! इसके अलावा Trade Theory ,Workshop Science and Calculations,और Employability Skill कि परीक्षाओं को CBT (Computer Based Test) Exam के तहत आयोजित किया जाता है! जिसमें छात्रों को नजदीक के विभिन्न Online Exam Centre पर जा कर देना होता है!
