Electrician Trade : It is an Engineering Trade.
i. Basic Qualification: The Basic qualification for admission in Electrician Trade is Matric ( 10th ) Pass under 10+2 system of education with Science as one of the subject.
ii. Certification: (SCVT/NCVT) Both or Pvt. ITI By GRDO Vocational Training Programme.
iii. Duration of Course: 2 Years, Full Time. iv. Syllabus : Electrician Syllabus, Employability Skills Syllabus,

vi. Skills acquired on completion:
On completion of the course the trainee shall have through knowledge of design and laying of wiring of domestic and commercial building. He shall have full knowledge of power generation, transmission and distribution system, insulators. earthing, power house, lighting arrestor, reactor, and capacitors in circuit used in electrical installation. Construction of different types of batteries and preparing electrolytes used in it. Servicing and repairing of table fan, ceiling fan, exhaust fan, hair dryer, mixer,motors, pump, generator, transformers and relays used in AC/DC circuit. He shall be able to, design prepare panel boards used for industries / workshop. Detect Fault in different types of AC and DC starter and motor timer used in factories and workshop and connect different types of measuring instrument on the panel boards. He shall be an expert in hand winding and machine winding of transformers, field coils of DC motors, rewinding of armature stator winding bell/Buzzer/NVC, OLC of DC starter.
vii. Options for employment:
Can work as a lineman, Wireman, Maintenance electrician, Electrical supervisor, Electrical contractor, expert rewinder, lab technician, electrical maintenance Forman in Pvt. sector industries and Govt. sector.
viii. Options for self-employment :
He can be a contractor of domestic wiring and industrial wiring and hotels. He shall be able to run his own electrical workshop and take up oil filtration of transformer on lines. Setup own shop for rewinding of different types of AC/DC motors, generator & transformers, Panel board wiring busbar wiring and measuring instrument wiring.
Computer Operator & Programming Assistant ( COPA ) Trade :
It is Non-Engineering Trade.
i. Basic Qualification : Passed 12th class under 10+2 system or duly recognized Diploma in Engineering (other than Computers) from any polytechnic of 3 years duration.
ii. Certification : (SCVT/NCVT) Both or Pvt. ITI By GRDO Vocational Training Programme.
iii. Duration of Course : 1 Years, Full Time.
iv. Syllabus : COPA Syllabus, Employability Skills Syllabus
v. Subject to be Studied during training course :
1. COPA Trade Theory.
2. COPA Trade Practical.
3. Employability Skills.

vi. Skills acquired on completion :
Computer fundamentals, attaining speed for practicing data entry, hardware & software concepts, Installing & working with OS:- MS-DOS, Win 9x/2000/ME/XP, Developing programs from planning & flowcharting to coding & debugging using programming languages C & C++, Learning various packages supported by PC such as MS-Word, MS-Excel, Presentation & graphic packages and developing programs for commercial application using FoxPro, Basic concepts of networking, Internet browsing and Email, Multimedia concepts, PC peripherals (Printer, Scanner, Web Camera, CD-Writer), Awareness of IT Act 2000, Web designing using HTML , Overview of Visual Basic, Installation & working with Linux, Developing soft skill viz. work culture, communication skills.
vii. Options for employment :
Assistant Programmer in software development firms. Faculty member or Lab assistant in Computer Institutes or Schools. Internet operator in Cyber cafe. Computer operator in Industry, Offices etc. Assistant to Service Engineer Sales person in Hardware & Software firms. DTP operator.
viii. Options for self-employment :
He/she can start a Computer Institute, Cyber cafe & DTP centre. Starting a computer consumable shop. Take up data processing jobs.
